Combo: Hagia Sophia Mosque & Blue Mosque Guided Tour with Tickets

The tour start seemed unorganized and rather chaotic. Even though participants were required to show up early, at the official start of the tour the guides were still arranging groups. The Blue Mosque tour seemed very superficial, I likely could have gotten the same information from a wikipedia article summary. The Hagia Sofia tour was significantly better. I would have preferred if the email and the important information had contained the info that the audio guide at Hagia Sofia requires headphones, that would have been useful to know ahead of time. (The quality of the guide was poor, but that was no fault of Headout.)

I got tickets and found the meeting point easily. The tour started on time. Our guide was amazing, I got a lot of new and interesting facts about Istanbul

The guides were knowledgeable, accommodating & entertaining. The sites lived up to our high expectations. The organisation was seamless.

the detailed history of the different places of interest, shared by the tour guides. It was expansive anf insightful history and local stories. The Tour was packed full with, much to seek and take in with opportunity to spend a good time at each place.

Great visit of the Blue Mosque with Gamze (sorry if misspelt!) Very clear explanations, Gamze took the time to answer questions and made sure everyone could hear her. She’s clearly passionate about Istanbul and its beautiful monuments ! Highly recommend, we had a great time and the Blue Mosque is absolutely stunning. No guides allowed in Hague Sophia but our guide still took some time to explain a bit and accompanied us to the security entrance.

The guide, Mohammed, was very good. He was able to make alternative arrangements to see another cistern as the Basilica Cistern was shut on the day of the tour. This could have been made clear at the time of booking (only the previous day.)

Whole experience was well planned despite the fact that Basilica Cistern was closed. Guide offered to take us to another Cistern and it was a good decision. Our guide was amazing! With lots od knowledge and well spoken english.

To be honest, my partner and I felt a little bit underwhelmed by the tour. We did get to skip the line for the Hagia Sophia, but we got a 10 min briefing before we went in and then as soon as we entered our guide showed us to the audioguide area and left us saying "he wasn't allowed to guide us through" which we saw a sign for, however there were probably 50 groups that we saw that were being guided, so that felt weird. As for the Blue Mosque we could barely hear our guide and we only spent about 15 minutes inside, and it was free entry... So it definitely didn't feel worth €112 for two people. We more or less paid that much for just the Hagia Sophia and a 30 minute tour. Overall it was a fun day though and they are definitely sites worth seeing.

Loved the blue mosque, just stunning Hagia Sofia was okay just seemed a bit scruffy and the tour guide spoke for an hour watching the queues build up, I had to leave the group and find a seat. Basilica Costern didn't have enough handrails on the stairs, the room was a bit too dim

Our guide was very committed to the group, made sure everyone was included, explained the history and significance of sites, and accommodated, and even made time to help a couple recover their stolen backpack that was turned into the security station. Note that thieves are everywhere at the main tourist sites.

We had a great time with our guide who not only shared some facts about what we were visiting but also facts about Turkey and Istanbul. Really interesting to have another perspective...and we skipped the line :-)

The flexibility of being able to take one of the three tours the next day to what I had hired. We dpend too much time in the Topkspi Palace and you allowed us to come back the next day forvthe remsining tour.

Our guide gave great information. Had difficulty hearing him at times. Sometimes his directions of where to meet were not descriptive enough. The group was too large. Ended up not using the ticket for haggia Sophia because the line was too long and it was the last stop. I never did receive the email after booking and even after calling support, never received. I did receive the text (which referenced my correct email address) so thankfully because I had an international plan, was able to receive the text and therefore my tickets. So please work on these aspects and you will receive a better rating.

The tickets were clearly not skipped the line I had to queue in every single of the three locations I wanted to visit and the team was not my emails, asking for more information about meeting points and order of the visits..

All the guides were cheerful, knowledgeable and passionate. Even though we sometimes had to wait in a line for a while (there are many skip-line tour groups), I was never ever bored. Thank you so much for making my short stay the best!! I'll be definitely back to this beautiful historic city!

So very well organised and and excellent guides on each of the tours I did - Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Blue Mosque. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

I liked the tour, but I really advise the revision of the tour description. The description mentioned choosing a slot for each visit and that some sites where closed certain days of the week and in the end we just got the tour in one go, which was my preference. But because the description was not clear I ended up by changing other plans. So please be clear about the tour layout. I am starting to notice that everything single activity I book is poorly explained. Is it a cultural thing?

The guides were awesome, beginning with Cenker who was unbelievably patient with clueless tourists who had all sorts of issues (no pass, wrong date, etc). His tour to the Hagia Sophia was great. He and the other guides were professional and cool handling that, then enthusiastic in their guiding. They were informative and funny when appropriate. They each answered all the questions from tourists. The guide (forget his name) in the Cistern was excellent, as was Mohammed to the Blue Mosque. They each did their best to ensure that our group did not have to wait and had a great experience.

the guide was very punctual, helpful, and really makes sure we get enough time to take photos and explained so many interesting things about the landmarks, he even cater with people who got curious about the Turkish bath, definitely knows what he is doing and definitely would rate him 10/10!

Our guide was disinterested and unenthusiastic. He did not come to the Hagia Sofia with us because he said guides were not allowed in. There were a lot of people accompanied by guides.
