Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with Fast Track Tickets

The tour was well managed, transports were fast and efficient, instructions were clear. However the tour felt rushed, there was no time to pause, see and think. Guide was otherwise ok, would have appreciated more detailed trivia/stories of individuals instead of the bare-minimum basic-facts we could read on the walls.

It was a sobering, somber experience. Michael, the tour guide was excellent and knew his material and was engaging. I recommend people take this tour.

It was very interesting. The guide was great and knew his way around very well. However, the tour was booked in German and was conducted in English. Not a problem for us, but when the tour is booked in German because you don't speak English, it's very annoying. It was also inconvenient that I booked the tour for 13:00 and it was then rescheduled for 7:15. So the organization leaves something to be desired. But in the end it was a very interesting, informative and yet very depressing and thought-provoking tour.

l'esperienza sarebbe stata molto più valida se non ci fosse arrivata un messaggio il giorno prima della visita che il nostro tour in italiano era stato annullato e ci davano opzione sosgtitutiva solo per le 8:30 della mattina dopo solo in inglese, non avendo nessuna alternativa, due di noi non capiscono l'inglese. non avnedo alternative abbiamo dovuto accettare ma logicamente le due persone non hanno capito nulla. assurdo, abbiamo prenotato due mesi prima e ci è stato cancellato il pomeriggio prima. Abbiamo così buttato via anche i soldi dell'albergo per una notte in più. Vi avrei scritto per un risarcimento. che modo di lavorare. se volete potete contattarmi.

The guidance was really nice as well as the experience. But we had a last time change to the time of the visit and we have notified by the tour company via WhatsApp and headout didn't send us an official email for the different time of the tour.

Our guide, Magdalena was great: she told us many many facts and was answering all our questions. This is a hard tour, to take it in how low we can go as a specie.

Un lieu émouvant qui vous imprègne au premiers pas de la folie meurtrière des hommes et de la souffrance qui a habité cet endroit au quotidien. Je ne trouve pas vraiment les mots tellement le ressenti prend aux tripes .Une seule critique : l'organisation sur place ,mais bon est-ce que cela a de l'importance. Très bonnes experience enrichissante et pleines d'émotions ! Rien à dire sauf le fait que je pensait voir plus de choses au camp Birkenau. ( apparemment faut prendre la visite la plus longue ) N'étant pas au courant. Merci pour tout et l'organisation.

La visite en elle même était très intéressante, le problème est plutot le guide car déjà nous n'entendions plus la guide des qu'elle était un peu loin de nous et étant 30 dans le groupe c'était assez compliqué d'être toujours à côté d'elle, elle avançait également assez vite donc si nous voulions prendre le temps d'observer c'était plutôt compliqué. Elle ne connaissait pas non plus très bien le fonctionnement car lors du changement de camp elle nous a pas indiqué le bon bus à prendre, elle ne répondait pas trop à nos questions également elle nous disant qu'on aurait du écouter. Pour finir, elle est parti sans nous dire au revoir, en courant pour prendre la navette. La visite avait été décalé la vielle de 45 min mais nous avons commencer la visite qu'une demi heure plus tard.

I really appreciated the orderly manner in which the guided tour took place. Also I valued the guide's passion and knowledge of the events. On the other hand, seeing the places where such a tragedy was allowed to happen is heartbreaking.

The organisation before we arrived was handled well with even a last minute change of start time being organised perfectly. You guys made it simple to find the meeting point and you arrived on time. The tour of the first camp area was excellent with the headphones and guide speaking into a mic idea working really well and meaning we could hear everything perfectly. The tour of the second camp was also handled well . It's not an easy thing to present such a shocking and terrible place with sensitivity whilst allowing the group to learn about the history but you did it very well. Thank you.

A lot of important and detailed contextual information was given, which was super important and very good. The guide Lukas led the group through the two camps in a very respectful and appropriate manner. That was very important. At the end, he gave everyone a kind of closing statement, which once again made it clear that a visit to the two camps should not be a tourist attraction, but a place that shakes you up about current events and reminds you of the victims. Although it is a challenge, as there are many visitors every year, I found the visit very educational, appropriate and respectful. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

The negative points are as follows: We had booked a tour in French, which was cancelled the day before and replaced by a tour in English, which we accepted since we were already there and had come from far away. On the day of the tour, the member of your team was late at the meeting point, and we couldn't reach the organization by phone. We almost left without taking the tour, fortunately we were able to contact someone at the last minute... Positive points: our guide was very friendly, and the information she gave us was very clear and interesting. We were able to exercise our duty to remember as we should.
