Topkapi Palace and Harem Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line Tickets

We got in very quickly, it was skipping the lines. The guide was very nice and shared stories with us, however 1 hours is very fast-forward through everything, and he never asked if we had any questions, which wasn't his fault, as he was paid to guide us through in one hour, which he did. Information he shared was available on the info tables around the Palace anyway. Only valuable information was about Harem if you paid for the Harem tour option. Apart from that you don't need the guide except to take you in the Palace as part of skip the line ticket.

The guided tour with Adil is a must. Many thanks to you for the organization and to Adil for all the explanations. We actually had a history lesson. It was great!

The guide was not all in on dates and facts but he was a nationalist so we got the all in Turkish point of view. Very very interesting and exotic. He handled well the most annoying americans asking silly questions.

The palace is amazing. Loved the visit and experiencing first hand all the cultural heritage contained in this site. Communication could be improved. When we arrived at the meeting point we had to guess which person we needed to talk to. We assumed that the guy with a flag showing many logos, Headout included was it. Our guide was transactional and dismissive. He provided a good amount of information, but not necessarily in an engaging way. It definitely felt like he wanted to be done with the tour and leave. We were given hearing devices at the beginning of the tour. One of the attendees had her device break half way through the program, and the guide didn't have any backups, so his answer was simply "there's nothing I can do for you". That attitude downgrated the overall experience for us.

Nice guide and polite. The tour was short but nice. Unfortunately, the audio did not work and because we were with a stroller and a child we were seated in the back of the group so we didn't hear much.

A very well organised experience - we were not lucky with the weather, but our guide Arda made our tour very interactive and made sure we did not stay long under the pouring rain.

The customer service is absolutely lost. They don't talk to each other and it almost caused us to go to the wrong place for the meeting point. Istanbul has an amazing culinary, but the food on the boat was average to bad. Do recommend the experience itself, but not this company.

Took place on time. Guides were kind and professional. Place was awsome but very crowded. You have to take time to see everything.

The guide (Arda or Arza?) was very informative and provided a lot of insight not only into the monument but also in Istanbul/Turkey's history and contemporary society

Our guide was knowledgable and the tour was interesting. but in general it felt very short, as the tour covered just an intro part for the palace, not Harem, and not museums.

Easy to book online . Arrangement for connecting with guide went well . One hour guided tour gave a useful overview and base to see how he rest of the palace on one's own

Excellent experience on this palace tour. Our guide gave it the special touch, Haralk (I think that's how you spell it) is an experienced guide who knows the luar, the culture and the history in a way that makes this tour worthwhile. Clear and complete explanations and always taking care of all the doubts.

The guide was interesting, but bake sure to take an audio-guide before entering the palace because you will not have paper tickets to go out and back in. If you have internet in Turkey, the guide can give you a code to download an app. Fortunately the guards were kind to let us out and back in without ticket so that we could get audioguides, but that was not possible for the harem, which we visited without guide or audioguide. (The written inscriptions are not very interesting) Also, the visit takes nearly the whole day, take a picnic ;)

The guide Muhammed Salih was fantastic. His knowledge and delivery impeccable. The site was beautiful and the exhibitions were stunning. Without a doubt the best part of our trip so far 😊👌

Cerkan was a fantastic tour guide! He was very supportive and made sure everyone felt comfortable. His knowledge of Topkapi Palace history was impressive, and he shared many interesting details we would have missed otherwise. The tour ran smoothly and finished on time. We thought our experience was a guided tour through all the places. However it is just a simple brief where the tour guide showed us the summary of the places. Additional 3 euro or 100 lira required to be paid by cash directly to the guide if we want additional tour and explaination on Harem was unexpected; which we didnt take. Is it a common practice by this tour to have tourist pay for additional cost for this? As we thought we paid everything when we purchase the ticket online.

Our guide was great, well spoken, informative but it was very chaotic getting our tickets at Topkapi Cafe. No clear system or communication. Attitude of staff issuing tickets was unpleasant. It seems to be the departure point for a number of different tour groups. Head out flags were not on display

Incredible location great history beautiful place. I was disappointed at the tour as it was advertised to be a 3 hour tour but it was only one hour and it was not a good tour
