Skip-the-Line Tickets to Basilica Cistern

Incredible historical attraction.. one of my favourite. Really good having staff at start of the line to direct people into appropriate lines. Well organised

The 3€ added to the 25€ entrace price was worth every penny to me. I actually bought the ticket from their website while standing on the long queue to enter the site. I got instant confirmation of my purchase via email, and walked straight to the entrance. TIP: buy the ticket when you have WiFi and can download the app as well -- while I was able to buy and get email confirmation of the purchase without it, the link from the email to get the QR code doesn't work without it, however the attendants at the entrance were extremely helpful and got this straightened out for me.

I purchased the audio tour but when i arrived there was no information about it. So we just walked through with no historical information whatsoever.

Headout was easy to use and informative. However we paid extra for the audio tour but it wasn't made clear that this required downloading an app, which we didn't have the internet to do.

Buying the online skip the line tickets is great as no time is wasted queuing to buy tickets. There is another separate line for this ticket to get into the basilica..

Definitely, if I had not had the chance to skip the line,,, I would have given up the visit, vissta the endless queue waiting at the entrance.

Ticketing experience with Headhout went very smoothly. Walked straight into the venue definitely skipping the queues. The venue itself is awesome and is a MUST visit in Istanbul.

I thought I would get headphones as the audio guide. Our phones were low on battery and couldn't download the guide 😞😞😞😞😞

The experience of the cistern basilicrwas good, howeuthe skip the line ticket should realistically be just called online ticket as there was still a long queue to get in. It would also be better if there is suggestion to download the audio tour in advance. The code itself took a lot of try before it was recognised so not sure if it can actually be downloaded in advance.

Ticketing experience wasn't easy online, it was asking me to download the app to retrieve the tickets, which I didn't want to do. Skipping the queue was simple.

Visiting The Cistern Basilica was one of the most beautiful cultural experiences I have ever had! It is like being immersed in a surreal world where the charm of the ancient world is combined with the magic of contemporary art. I highly recommend skip the line given the amount of tourists!

Fast-track entry was definitely worth it. The eternal queue would certainly have taken a long time! The cistern is also beautiful - and worth admiring. However, as with all sights, there are so many people around. The price for just under 30 EUR is high - but of course that is the case everywhere. There were no audio guides. So you don't need to book one.

It's a phenomenal place, so atmospheric, must be amazing empty. Maybe there are small group tours when it's the sole group in there but we didn't find any. You need to get in there at opening or maybe mid-afternoon when we noticed smaller queues at the big attractions. We paid for skip-the-line and a member of staff told us there was not a separate line which was clearly not true.

The place is incredible and there's no queue with the online ticket! The queue was huge and we went straight inside without any queue.

Thia was a great experience, tried to do it two years ago but it was closed for repairs , but managed to get to see a magnificent like temple to the engineers of the past , a must go and see , you will be amazed , book on line as the ques are long , enjoy the experience

Skipped the line and went straight in. Well worth seeing this, nothing quite like it. The audio guide you listen to is also good. Would recommend.

The team need to be given better information on how to use the etickets. The young lady mentioned that we had to download all 3 tickets that were purchase individually and not be on the app as it was purchased by one person. That delayed us almost 15 minutes in trying to figure it out, when we got to the checking in location the other young lady told us it was not necessary as it was easier for her to do on the app of the person who purchased the tickets. Too much confusion, just make it easy.

Skiptheline worked great, we enered very quick otherwise line was very long. But audio guide not working inside because there is no mobile network there. So no point of it. Better to take on place. Advise to go there not on weekends, because its difficult to enjoy the place when its over crowded. The place worth to go.

The attraction itself is a must see, in my pinion. However, I was unable to access the audio guide that came with the ticket pirchase and had to purchase the audio guide at the basilica; and I found the guide not useful. Overall, it was a worthwhile visit.
